Who is involved

Barnet Council is responsible for overseeing the regeneration of the whole of the Brent Cross Cricklewood area.

The Council is working with Hammerson and Standard Life Investments to redevelop the Brent Cross shopping centre, to the north, and is a Joint Venture partner with Argent Related to develop Brent Cross South.

Hammerson UK and Standard Life Ltd are working on the northen side of the development and will deliver the redevelopment of the Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the land around it.

They will also provide the road and transport infrastructure required to support the comprehensive regeneration.

Barnet Council is also working with Network Rail (with support from central Government) to deliver an additional Thameslink station to serve the Brent Cross South development.

Argent Related and Barnet Council are working in partnership to deliver Brent Cross South.

Argent Related, formed in 2015, combines two respected firms’ leadership in creating new parts of cities for their communities to use and enjoy.

Argent is the UK developer best known in London for its work on the regeneration of King’s Cross.

Related Companies is a US – based real estate company which is currently undertaking Hudson Yards.

  • Brent Cross Cricklewood
    Brent Cross Cricklewood is the name of the wider regeneration scheme, which involves three integrated projects.
  • Brent Cross South
    Barnet Council and Argent Related have created a Joint Venture Partnership to develop the new town centre.
  • Brent Cross London / Brent Cross North
    Barnet Council is working with Hammerson and Standard Life (HSL) Investments to redevelop the Brent Cross shopping centre, which will be known as Brent Cross London. HSL are also delivering critical infrastructure.
  • New Thameslink Station
    Barnet Council is working with Network Rail to deliver an additional Thameslink station to service the area.
